On Preferred gender pronouns
In the western world, there is a debate about preferred gender pronouns. Sri Lankan children were recently subjected to a propaganda campaign run by US aid to "educate" them. As far as the preferred gender pronounce policy is concerned, there are several problems.
Any species uses languages as one of its signalling mechanisms. The development of languages occurs both in cognitive formalisation and in communication. In both of these tasks, there is a fundamental natural law that efficiency increases with time to compensate for aggregation of knowledge. For this reason, every language has adopted features to improve its communication efficiency, either organically or through policy interventions. Most languages have adopted such features organically to increase efficiency over time. The simplified Mandarin (or simplified Chinese) alphabet is a great example of a policy intervention. Since the introduction of the alphabet in the 1950s, it has been widely used. The reason for its widespread adoption is that it enhances the efficiency of using the language. Moreover, certain ethics have been added to languages to emphasize their elevated status by using such terms. The English introduced various types of such ethics, but they all fell out of use after a few decades. There was an increase in unnecessary friction in communication as a result. In the evolution of the language, gender-preferred pronouns will eventually follow the same trajectory. Several decades from now, it will be out of use simply because it is inconvenient.
Second, lingual syntax differs greatly from language to language. As a result, universal adaptation of gender preferred pronouns to all languages is quite ignorant. As an example in Sinhala it's common to use the term “ඔයා (you)” which is gender neutral on gender pronoun standards. Due to their unique syntax, it makes no sense in some languages.
Thirdly, there is a political problem. Throughout history, pseudo ethics have been used to establish hierarchies. These pseudo-ethics will penalise the working class and other underprivileged classes of society because these exclusive ethics will only be practiced by elevated classes of society. The use of these ethics as a lever will enable elevated classes to ladder up by mobilising masses. Therefore, imperialist media propaganda has already been used to propagate this. This is one of the many ways they can penetrate social movements through comprador elements.
